ABOUT FIRST KIDS PRESCHOOL
First Kids Preschool strives to nurture each child’s individuality and innate curiosities in a loving, Christian environment. Our goal is to instill a desire for lifelong learning as we prepare preschoolers for kindergarten and the world beyond.
Our Philosophy
We believe that each child is unique, and we do our best to nurture the intrinsic God-given gifts that each one brings and shares with us. We also believe that what truly makes a difference in a child’s life, beneath the method, materials, and curriculum, is a teacher who cares about each child and who teaches from the heart.
Toddlers and preschool children all learn best by “doing.” They are active learners who gain knowledge by acting directly on and with concrete objects. Through these actions, they can draw conclusions about their world. Within our daily classroom routine, we have many hands-on activities and projects designed to be stimulating and fun for your child. It is exciting to watch our toddlers and preschoolers as they tirelessly experiment and investigate the world.

MUSIC FOR ALL
Your child’s regular classes include music once or twice a week with, Ms. Marie, a former Gymboree teacher.
Marie Bonello has a bachelor’s in history and music history and a master’s in music education from U of M. She taught K–6 vocal music for years before staying home with her daughters. She later taught Gymboree classes for ten years and led Girl Scouts.
She and her husband, Ken, and have two daughters. She enjoys being involved in a music organization, serving on our HOA board, and relaxing at her cottage in Lexington. The children at First Kids Preschool bring me so much joy!
