Pathways of Faith

Discipleship Class | Small Groups
Pathways of Faith are a series of small-group offerings designed to support spiritual growth at every stage of the journey. Whether you are new to the church, have been part of this community for years, or are simply curious about deepening your faith, these gatherings offer a welcoming space to explore Scripture, reflect on what it means to follow Jesus, and grow in God’s love and grace. There is no expectation to have all the answers—only an openness to learn, listen, and walk alongside others as we continue discovering how faith takes shape in our lives.

First Steps: Exploring the Bible

Thursdays, February 12, 19 & 26; March 5 & 12 from 7:00-8:30 p.m.
#240 Arbon Dennis Chapel, or via Zoom, led by Roz Townes

First Steps: Exploring the Bible is an invitational class designed to help you feel more comfortable and confident as you approach the reading and study of God’s Word. Rather than answering every question, this class focuses on what to notice, helping you discover the Bible’s main story and the threads of truth woven throughout Scripture. Together, we will explore the big picture of God’s unfolding Kingdom, the depth of God’s love and pursuit of people, and the light of Christ at the heart of it all. Whether you are new to the Bible or returning with fresh curiosity, First Steps offers a welcoming place to begin—and to enjoy the journey. Books are available at no cost in the church office.

A Disciple’s Path is a guided journey for anyone seeking to grow more deeply in their relationship with Christ and the church. Rooted in a Wesleyan understanding of grace and growth, this series explores practical spiritual practices—prayer, presence, gifts, service, and witness—in ways that are accessible, meaningful, and honest. Whether you are new to the church or have been walking this road for years, this is a space to reflect, learn, and grow together.
