The Jordan was running over its banks at harvest time. The priests walked in anyway, and only then did the waters stop and the way open for everyone behind them.

Tomorrow the Lord will do wonders among you.
- Joshua 3:5

Many of you have been stepping in faithfully for years. Birmingham & Berkley First stands on those steps. Every generation meets its own river, and the word given to Israel that day still holds: you have not passed this way before.

It begins with everything pictured below, and with so much more that happens beyond the camera’s view: pastoral leadership, worship and music, children and family ministries, student ministry, adult education and small groups, congregational care, outreach, and the daily work that holds it all together.

The 2027 Stewardship Campaign goal of $3 million sustains all of this ministry. An additional gift to Home Fires helps care for the buildings and grounds that make it possible. As the next step forward, prayerfully consider your commitment to the Operating Budget and Home Fires for the coming year.

Whether you are continuing your faithful support, increasing it, or stepping in for the first time, your generosity prepares the way for what comes next. Together, we step forward.
